Biscayne Bay Saison is our tribute to the little farmhouse breweries that originated in the Franco-Belgian countryside of Wallonia – covering parts of southern Belgium and bordering northern France. Our first interpretation of this style pushes the boundaries a bit while staying true to the beer’s roots - reflecting the French idea of Terroir - or ‘sense of place’ - in which there’s a notion that the land from which the ingredients come imparts an undeniable quality specific to that particular geography . We believe that this ‘location’ mindset heavily contributes to All the beers we make. For Biscayne Bay Saison, the primary location is Belgium and our combination of Pilsner, Pale and Wheat malts, French hops with an authentic Saison yeast creates a beer with a distinguished taste, a generous bitterness and a nice balance between body and bite.
