In 2010 Achel the brothers decided to brew a firmer blonde Extra Brown next Achel. Was dusted off the 2004 recipe and here and there modified. Lay Brouwer Marc Knops and brother - brewer - baker Jules 're very proud to introduce their new brew: the Achel Extra Blond , a penalty whopper of 9.5%. A real tasting beer so filled in 75cl bottles. This beer will now be available throughout the year , but only in the store of brother Martin. The beer is not distributed outside the abbey.
