Amber color, slight haze from oak aging. 5 months of whiskey barrel aging adds a bright caramel & vanilla toasted oak character to the rich caramel malt aromas. On the palate the caramel character from the malt has been enhanced by the caramel character of the toasted oak, still showing the strong vanilla character and a slightly drier finish. The warming of the high alcohol content can be felt but is soft and melds nicely with the fruity and spicy flavors.
