-American Pale Ale brewed with Beets- This great tasting beer is brewed with organic beets from the brewer’s garden. It was first brewed especially for the Great Taste of the Midwest 2013. It is rooted in the style of an American Pale Ale, although it uses 40% wheat malt. It has a fruity hop character and a pleasantly mild and earthy beet flavor. It even derives its rosy pink hue from the humble beet! This beer is truly an ode to all great Midwestern things; hard work, the family farm, good beer, and home-grown beets…not necessarily in that order.
