Belgian-style rustic ale, “de Garde” meaning “for keeping, or cellaring.” Brewed with French ale yeast. Highly complex malt aromas and flavors, deep golden amber color, full carbonation. Notes of fruits and citrus, as well as Concord grape. Use of French ale yeast is a new step in experimenting with non-Ommegang yeast to develop additional flavors and aromas.
