Bonfire Boy is brewed seasonally for the November 5th celebrations that Lewes is renowned for. Originally called 'Firecracker' and brewed to commemorate the gallant work of the Fire Brigade during the fire at the brewery in July 1996. The label depicts the uniform of the Cliffe Fire Brigade circa 1880. Tasting notes: A dark amber beer with a full malty palate and a slightly burnt, bitter aftertaste. A small quantity of black malt is used to impart the suggestion of smoke.
