This pale ale utilizes fresh-picked Cascade and Nugget hop cones that were harvested in Paonia, Colorado about 40 hours before they were added to the brew kettle. From the first waft you’ll notice the earthy underpinnings that remind us of some hard work spent cultivating this beautiful crop. The name for the beer recognizes the harvest from our favorite plant: botanists among us will remind us that hops are considered bines, not vines, because they grow by sending shoots wrapping up around supports, rather than climbing through tendrils or suckers (as a vine does). However they grow, we’re sure happy they thrive in Colorado and around the world.
