Captain Molly Kool was North America’s first female licensed Atlantic sea captain. She was ahead of her time with strong ties to the Bangor area and Geaghan’s Pub. Like Molly, our newest IPA, Capt. Kool, is bold, brash and beautifully balanced. Jason’s blending and well timed additions of Cascade, Columbus, and Chinook hops have produced by far our biggest IPA with an ABV of 7.5% and 70 IBU and still a smooth easy drinking ale. Capt. Kool IPA is our tribute to the strong, brave women we all admire.
