The Tulsa, Okla.-based brewery will be releasing Coffee Okie, an 11 percent ABV imperial brown ale that has been aged in oak whiskey barrels for six months and conditioned on coffee beans. The new beer uses Prairie’s Okie (12 percent ABV) as its base before adding the coffee beans, which were sourced from a “local Tulsa coffee roaster,” according to Wesley Morrison, brand ambassador for Prairie.
