Our Winter installment of the Portland Pale Project earns its name from its crisp hint of pine, a result of the hop combo we used. With our Pale Ale pub series, we strive to show the possibilities of this beer style and the Coniferous is a great example of breaking that traditional Pale mold. Even its coloring surprises drinkers, which is a beautiful rich shade of copper. It also packs some hoppiness, which is balanced by a sweet ānā fruity malt backbone. The Coniferous is anything but boring.
