Brewed using a combination of specialty barley malts, wheat and a traditional top fermenting German yeast culture, Cross Knot is a continental style bright ale that exhibits lager like smoothness due to an extended conditioning and moderately cool fermentation. Clean and crisp, with soft herbaceous and mellow notes, it is complemented by mild bittering from a traditional ‘noble’ hop variety up front, and a southern hemisphere zinger on the nose.
