Inspired by the malty, dark Abbey ales of Belgium, varieties of special malts and dark Belgian candied sugar, fermented with dried Deglet Noor dates from California. Dark fruits, caramel, and cocoa flavors, full, rich, and moderately sweet before finishing with dry spicy clove notes. Ideally paired with roasted/grilled/smoked meats and chocolate.
