Saddlebock Dirty Blonde is brewed in the traditional German Kolsch style, using an ale yeast, but fermented like a lager. The cold temperature during fermentation gives this beer a refreshing dry quality, while the ale yeast contributes complex fruity flavor and bread-like aroma not normally found in a lager.
