This is a Ninkasi take on an English IPA. English IPAs are hoppy, moderately strong pale ales with more malt character than their American IPA cousins. They generally show hop aromas and flavors that are floral, earthy, and slightly grassy, backed by malt that is bready, biscuit-like, toasty, toffee-like, or caramelly. We brewed ours with Maris Otter & 2-Row Pale Malt and East Kent & Styrian Golding hops. Enjoy!
