A Bavarian style wheat beer. 60% wheat malt and 40% 2-row malt are incorporated with Noble hops imported from Germany. The resulting wort is fermented with a Bavarian yeast strain that imparts the distinctive banana and clove aromas — like those found in the most flavorful German hefeweizens (in contrast with the more mainstream West Coast style). The brewers skip the filtration step for that nice cloudy appearance, and great unfiltered flavor.
