Engelberg Pilsener is made in a historic German style in which the beer is unfiltered and uses more hops (2.25 pounds per barrel) than the typical modern example. We use a simple recipe and excellent Munich lager yeast to create a light and easy drinking beer that still yields a brew with tremendous aroma and flavor. It’s only slightly bitter but very dry with a hop character that lasts through the entire palate. The Engelberg is produced one batch at a time in the brewery’s 20 bbl conical fermenter and packaged only for draft. Malts: Canadian pilsener, dextrapils Hops: tettnanger
