This is a dark, and strong ale with a full body and rich chocolatey flavor complemented by a refreshing touch of mint. We added Dark Belgian Candy sugar to boost ABV, additions of fresh spearmint to the boil, and more mint as well as cocoa nibs in the brite tank. The fresh mint gives a yang to the stout's roasty yin, leaving a complex balance of flavors - and the cool menthol finish hits you like a cool breeze.
