The starting point for First Frontier is to create an IPA "the american way", without a sickly sweet malt profile that removes the focus from the IPA is really about, namely potent and aromatic hops. The result is a wonderfully dry, crisp and bitter IPA, which is hard tørhumlet with the three American hop varieties Warrior, Simcoe, and Centennial, which gives hints of citrus, peach and grapefruit. Added is a bit caramel malt, which is just there to harness and balance the alcohol that is at 7.1%.
