A traditional Marris Otter base with adjunct Crystal malts provides a smooth grain flavor, complimented well by roasted barley. The malt is balanced, but not overtaken, by Goldings and Willamette hops. There is a soft, crisp finish with a pleasant smell reminiscent of dry hay. A beer that drinks easily without lacking in flavor.
