The second in a series of experimental brews exploring the diversity of flavors and aromas that hops bring to a beer, featuring Apollo, Bravo, Nelson Sauvin, and Zythos varietals.
Ladyface’s new IPA project is light golden in color with a bright white head of foam and experiments with balancing a very light body with a strong and complex hop character. Out of the gate, the aroma and flavor are dominated by strong citrusy hops, moving to moderate bitterness with added complexity of pineapple, pine and light grassy notes. Hinting at a malt structure of honey and light biscuit, its light body lets the hops shine through, leaving refreshing and lingering hop variety across the palette.
