ANCIENT ALE
Before the use of hops, beer was bittered and flavored with a multitude of herbs, roots and spices. These ancient ales were known as Gruits. This Gruit is spiced with chamomile, lavender, grains of paradise, yarrow, sweet gale and mugwort. The result is an amazingly complex and usual beer that is slightly tart and extremely delicious.
