The Kentucky River Otter is based on an old pre-prohibition recipe called the Kentucky Common Ale. Ours starts off with a sour mash involving, rye, corn, and molasses and finishes out after being bourbon-barrel aged. Tasting notes: sour bourbon nose, light tartness, no discernible hop profile, minimal maltiness, dry.
