The hop-dominant flavor and aroma in our Kicker Session IPA might make you think this is a “bigger” beer. But the drinkable thirst-quenching attributes of Kicker are enhanced by a lower alcohol content. A light caramel or toffee malt background and light-medium mouth feel makes this session ale a fuller-bodied and satisfying brew. The aroma delivers a bright hop aroma of citrus such as grapefruit and tangerine, with a light malt backbone. The hop flavors can be fruity, with tangerine and strawberry notes coming from Citra and Amarillo, and a grapefruit and pine taste from Simcoe and Mosaic hops.
