Originating from 18th century English brewery traditions, where they were brewed with 100% grilled malt, brown ales returned to popularity around 1920 and contained mainly pale malt and a certain percentage of specialized malts. The Ecurieux, with its malty flavors and its taste of toasted hazelnuts, is inspired by these traditions of the north-east of England, but its dark color and its slightly sweet flavors still make a nod to the Versions of the south. Will the Ecurieux satisfy your curiosity? P.-S. No nuts were used in the manufacture of this beer.
