This seasonal beer was originally a home-brew recipe which one of our former brewers (Edgar Radonich) came up with over several brews. When he brewed it originally, he noticed that it was a new moon; and then it came out so well, that he decided that when he would brew it again, it would be on another new moon. There is no special significance to the name other than that (no pagan rituals here!). But what is significant about the name is that we release a cask on every new moon for the year following the release of a new vintage. Everybody seems to make such a big deal about the full moon, so we decided to give the new moon a little attention
