Beer the way it was meant to be! 16° Plato original gravity, 6% abv, deep copper/red color (the color of autumn leaves), and bursting with layers of toasted malt flavor. Deliciously smooth and satisfying when there’s a bit of a nip in the air. Old Zahm is named after our old fashioned brewing tool, the Zahm, which measures carbonation in the tanks and has been used by generations of brewers. We asked ourselves: why buy a new version when we can go with the original– a classic? And the same thought went into our beer: why brew a modern, light bodied Oktoberfest when we can brew up the full-throttle original version! Prosit!
