Throughout the night, we often dream up different techniques to apply to tried-and-true beer styles. Olfactory Hues takes the IPA template and spins it on its head. We kept the moist green aroma hops out of the boil completely, instead adding ony bittering hops. We then used our lauter as a giant hop back, filtering the entire beer (cold) though 150 lbs of whole leaf Amarillo, Summit, and Cascade hops. The end result is a nose so overwhelming you can smell the colors all the way from your lawn.
