Our Porter is the pinnacle of what we can accomplish at Sudwerk. Masterfully constructed from 7 different specialty malts and three Pacific Coast hops, during a brew day lasting 15 hours to achieve the rich and complex flavors. “The nose is of dark chocolate and espresso, its head creamy and generous. The first sip rewards the taster with dark licorice, deep espresso and a profoundly silky mouthfeel. Lingering spicy flavors continue to please the palate long after it is swallowed. Brewed in small batches, this porter is aged 4 times as long as our Ales before we bottle it by hand. This beer is perfect to enjoy on its own, or served with Sunday Roast or Barbecue.”
