We developed a traditional English Brown Porter malt bill and added rye for the Quiet Rye-ot Porter. Crystal and chocolate malts lend malty sweetness as well as some chocolate and coffee notes. The spiciness and complexity of the rye comes through as well. Hopped with nugget and azaaca hops. Brewed in collaboration with Whole Foods opening in Asheville.
