Our third installment of the 2015 Liquid Ingenuity Collection, Sage On Saison, was brewed by our head brewer, Adam Herrold. “Saisons are my favorite style and sage is one of my favorite herbs, I knew that combining the two along with lemon peel, German malts and Czech hops would strike a refreshing and perfect balance of flavors. Sage On Saison is a full bodied 6.0% featuring subtle peppery notes, a tantalizing hint of lemon peel, fresh sage and a refreshingly clean finish. I spent about four hours hand picking each leaf of sage and would like to personally thank those that provided the fresh herb that helped create this beautifully, well balanced Saison - Emily Hicks and Ben Coster from Loveland Oh, and Mary Effler from Amberly.
