Prior to working at BBC, assistant brewer Nick Banks was an avid home brewer. This recipe is a scaled up version of a Belgian Strong that Nick would often brew at home.
Brewed with fresh ground coriander, sweet and bitter orange peel, amber candy sugar, 4 malts, 5 hops and a traditional Belgian yeast, this is an elaborate beer. The name comes from the fact that it takes a few drinks (seven sips for us) to fully realize the complexity of this beer.
