Pours jet black with a thick tan head. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate lead - giving way to rich dark fruit notes and hints of spicy piney hops. Layers of malt, roast and chocolate cone through in the front pallet with moderate hop bitterness. The finish is thick and chewy, with oatmeal creaminess and pleasant lingering roast.
