This Belgian table beer was inspired by the sessionable trappist offering often referred to as a “single.” Thou not typically as lauded as the big Belgian tripels and quads, the single is a perfect beer for relaxing with friends or enjoying a meal. Similarly, our Monk & Honey is a beer meant to be enjoyed with good company and pairs great with food. Brewed with barley, Belgian yeast, and local honey this beer is simple yet complex. A light floral quality and hint of sweetness remain from the honey nicely complementing the simple grain bill and earthy/spicy Belgian yeast.
