Split Rock Creak Pale Ale is our interpretation of an American Pale Ale.
Our brew is named after the cold creek that Judge Brookings fell into on that fateful night. Wooden Legs Brewing company created Split Rock Creek Pale Ale as a refreshing, yet hoppy brew that leads our Flagship fleet.
We start with 2-Row American malt and add a few touches of caramel malt to balance out the flavor. The malts bring a great pale golden color with great white head.
Not to be forgotten, the hops come out strong in the flavor of the classic American Cascades with hints of floral, a touch of spice and a dash of citrus. Late in the boil we add the brewer favorite Amarillo hops to give Split Rock Creek that little extra punch of citrus.
We use a classic American ale yeast that ferments dry, smooth and clean for that well balanced taste.
