The 2nd beer in our series of fine McClelland Scotch-Irish Ales; this malty Wee Heavy brew went through a long boil in the kettle to allow the wort to caramelize. The end result is a deep copper to brown colored brew, with a malty caramel and roasted malt flavor that is a bit sweeter, fuller-bodied, and has a higher ABV than Scottish Ales (See our "Scotch'dale - Scottish Ale"). It's so good, we decided to call it by our last name... "The McClelland"! Try the original Scotch Ale from the old country.
