Maibock were traditionally brewed to transition between the heavier winter lagers and light pilsners of the summer. This was a Brewhouse Rarities release that Flying Dog aged in various whiskey barrels for approximately 2 months. It takes the traditional malt-forward, bready maibock and adds a layer of toasted oak and vanilla.
