Sixpoint’s Chris Kavanaugh’s first experiment with Red Hook Winery yeast: a simple wheat beer with low bitterness fermented with a sample of wild yeast culture provided by the Red Hook Winery. The yeast culture for this beer came from a cask of Pinot Blanc from Palmer Vineyards of Long Island, fermented only with the yeasts produced by the grape skins.
