Emerging from the heights of Appalachian Mountains, The James River flows down to the banks of Richmond City and beyond, passing through a series of majestic dams and rapids along the way. To show our appreciation for our great friends at the James River Outdoor Coalition and one of the dams in particular, we've named our Summer Seasonal in honor of the iconic Z Dam which connects Pony Pasture to William's Island. This pale-gold ale sports a light body and a clean malt flavor. Refreshing and quenching, Z Dam evokes an acute zestiness driven by a balance of late kettle hops and the addition of ginger, orange, and lime in the boil. Our Z Dam Ale is perfect to enjoy while basking in the sun on your patio, or when toasting a successful descent through the rapids of the mighty James River.
