Bearded Baby Pale Ale is a beautifully hazy orangecolored
ale that first presents itself with an aroma of
candied oranges, mangoes, tropical fruit and pine. Overall,
a light-bodied cracker and biscuit taste gives way to a
slight bitterness and a fruity-sweetness. It leaves a
bitterness requiring you to want to drink more. Bearded
baby is named after Jack Powell, son of Amiste Cusson
and Jeremiah Powell, of Canterbury. Legend has it that
Jeremiah's beard was shorn during the babyshower held in
anticipation of Baby jack's arrival. Upon seeing this fiasco,
and knowing the value of a quality beard, members of the
Epicure team gifted an adorable crocheted baby hat, with
beard. Hence, bearded baby. No babies were harmed
during the making of this beer.
