Unlike its namesake, the first bomber to grace Salina’s Smokey Hill Army Air Field in 1943, this beer is neither tough nor offensive in any way. In fact it has been described as dry, light bodied, with a mild malt sweetness. It has little to no bitterness with a clear light yellow appearance.
