Originally brewed out of necessity to grow yeast, Badge quickly became a crowd favorite here at the brewery. The beer was released on our tours to celebrate local police officers. On release day we gave free six-packs to any licensed public safety officials as a thank you for their service and to celebrate their commitment to serving the community. The beer, and the day, turned out to be fantastic and we felt it was something worthy of doing on a larger scale.
Badge tickles all the senses with complex aromas and flavors but if you’re not looking to tear it down into individual layers you’ll find it’s juicy, fruity, hop aromas and hint of lager-crisp cleanliness pleasing to the pallet. Unlike having cuffs slapped on your taste buds from a lockdown of flavors in some India-style beers, Badge leaves your senses alert and in tact.
