Muletier is French for Mule Skinner. A mule driver who was given the nickname for being able to “skin” or outsmart a mule. Some of the most stubborn animals alive, Mules pulled canal boats along the Miami Erie Canal and were not easy to manage. Just like the mules of old, this historic French Saison is a difficult beer to master. We brew in the true farmhouse tradition with the flavors coming from uncontrolled fermentation. Authentically Different and traditionally brewed, we’ve skinned this Saison.
