In the Summer of 2016, the brewers of Granite Falls Brewing Company and Blind Squirrel Brewery joined forces to brew an adventurous and original style of beer. Duties were assigned by brewer: one to the malt bill, one to the hop schedule, and one to the water profile. The result is the tantalizing beer before you. Bright and tropical hops dominate the aroma, but are quickly followed by a deep, biscuity malt character. The flavor is fruity and slightly caramel, with a bright honey-like note and a lingering touch of sweetness. The clean and bright finish belies the imperial nature of this ale...you should always be careful with squirrels, as you may discover, to your surprise, they are much more knotty than you thought!
