A special Aventinus has been aged in Larchwood barrels (almost unheard of in barrel ageing). The result is quite distinctive... most definitely "woody + resiny" in character. It has very much transformed Aventinus into a different brew. In a blind tasting it would be extremely difficult to point to Aventinus.
