Black Dog Brewery, Hopped Golden Ale, is an interpretation of the Belgian/French farmhouse ale style saison. Black Dog Brewery have taken a different approach utilising their very own estate grown cascade hops as a majority of the brew, and some locally grown topaz from the Roman hop gardens in Carboor. It’s a fusion of flavours from funky yeast esters and punchy citrus, spicy and fruity hops on the nose, and light biscuity malt balanced out by the tart, dry and slightly bitter finish. Expect a lively carbonation in this brew!
