The Irish Style Ale is a medium bodied, less hoppy cousin of the English pale ale. The style typically exhibits a malty, buttery and caramel character and has received a great deal of renewed interest. Our Irish Style Ale is a proper compliment to our Extra Special Bitter. Light red in color, it is the first adventurous step into the darker beers for a new craft beer drinker. A gentle hop profile allows the lightly sweet maltiness to come through. A beer with a nice round mouth feel, it is a great choice for the red wine drinker.
