This is our sour rye fruited ale brewed with Carolina grown pilsner, wheat, and rye malts. This rustic refined ale was native fermented and aged in regional wine barrels with our house blend of yeast and lactobacillus on spent nectarines and apricots from last year's batch of June Princess. After aging the ale for over twelve months, we then blended in massive amounts of locally harvested nectarines for a bright fresh nectarine flavor. The result is a juicy fruit forward ale which is balanced by tart acidity and subtle notes of earthy fruit and oak on the finish.
