This beer is an IPA with a higher ABV and hoppy goodness. “Blue Train” is the name of an album produced by the iconic American jazz saxophonist and composer John Coltrane, released in 1957 on Blue Note Records. Just as John arranged his songs on this tremendous album, we infused the hoppy goodness into this delightful Double IPA. The beer recipes incorporates a blend of American and British malts with a small addition of Crystal Malt to give the beer its light copper color. The showcase in this beer is indeed the hops. We use a blend of CTZ, Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe. This is truly designed for the hop lover in mind! Cheers!
