Our yeast guy (East Coast Yeast) came up to us and asked if we'd like to try a new crazy yeast of his....to which we replied, OF COURSE! Middle Flounder brother Daniel and cousin Billy are both huge fans of the belgian-esque families of beers, so creating our own Saison was something that was certainly going to be in the cards - and here is our first! This Saison is all about showing off the fantastic yeast strain while keeping a nice, smooth, drinkable Saison that we can use to introduce folks into a whole new family of beers! It won the 2014 NJ Big Brew Winter Beer festival PEOPLE'S CHOICE award!
