We aged this beer in Tennessee Whiskey barrels for 6 months. The first impression is a fruity, wine like aroma with a big whiskey background. There are notes of raisins and dark fruit in the flavor. There is an underlying balanced bitterness from beginning to end. The finish is fairly dry and has notes of dried fruit, oak and whiskey.
